The WS Archives contain a great deal of valuable information on the history of our village - its people, government, businesses and traditions. Archival collections include historical records of: local government administration, police & fire services, events "in the news", town celebrations, public works, clubs, organizations, notable village residents, businesses, churches, schools and transportation. Materials include: books, photos, videos, maps, drawings, binders, magazines, phonebooks, scrapbooks, newspaper articles, real estate abstracts, government ordinances, plans, logbooks, etc. .The team of Archives volunteers scans the local newspapers and other resources on a daily basis seeking new additions to our records. We are happy to accept donations of historical materials and objects relevant to life in the village. If you have item such as photographs, artifacts form everyday life or other historical documentation you would like to donate, please contact the Society via email or call 708-246-9230.
