As an all-volunteer organization, the Western Springs Historical Society relies on a team of dedicated volunteers to help with a variety of tasks.

Most require a few hours per week or less and days/hours can be adjusted to fit your schedule. If you have a skill you would like to share, we hope you will consider joining us!

Volunteer Opportunities

Community Outreach / Docenting — conduct tours and give presentations for school children, families and the public

Event Planning — help plan or run special events

Archiving / Research — record and organize the collections and exhibitions

Buildings & Grounds Maintenance— indoor and outdoor maintenance

Public Relations — assist with newsletter and publicity

Creative — writers , photographers, graphics designers

Tech Support — website maintenance, organize databases
